My research background is in Ḥadīth Studies, with particular interest in the contextual and methodological understanding of Prophetic narrations. My MS thesis, السياق الموضوعي وأثره في الترجيح بين الأحاديث: دراسة تطبيقية, explored the role of thematic context in reconciling and weighing between apparently conflicting hadiths. Currently, I am interested in further exploring Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah, the relationship between Maqāṣid and Hadith/Jurisprudence, and the application of Maqāṣid-based approaches to contemporary issues. I also have an academic interest in Isrā’īliyyāt and the Prophetic engagement with Jewish communities.
