The 7th International Conference on Interdisciplinary Business, Economy, Management, and Social Studies (7th IBEMS), organized by Research Synergy Foundation, was held successfully virtually on 18 July 2023. Hundred of scholars coming from 14 countries had involved in the active scientific forum discussion. Since there were many questions and feedback from the audience to the presenter, we will continue the discussion in this forum. The first presenter is Assoc. Prof. Dzurizah Ibrahim from Universiti Malaysia Sabah. Her research is about the "Life After Retirement: Cultivating a Resilience Strategy".

Did the pandemic become a challenge to you while gathering the data? Since income and net worth changed during the pandemic. Did your data make a sudden change because of it?

Further studies can use Life span theory and approaches to developmental change are discussed in the context of resilience and working in later life and what is the quantitative study framework for the follow-up studies that you are conducting?

Q4.) Rafael Davis III --> What are the necessary preparations while working to have a less financial problems during retirement?

Q5.) Mhie Baldesanso Daniel --> How does the cost of living impact retirees' ability to maintain their desired lifestyle after retirement?

Q6.) Vivian Ramachandran --> Since you utilized the purposive sampling, did you not consider getting equal number of participants in terms of gender? And since you have more male participants than female, how were you able to make generalization of your results?

Q7.) Santi Rahmawati --> It is great number of informants/ respondents (62 persons) for qualitative study Dr. Dzurizah. Congratulation.. It must take great effort. I’m wondering, how long (duration) does the in-depth interview taken for each person? Do you use any software to do the thematic analysis? Perhaps nVivo or Quirkos or other software to make it easier since you have many transcripts from the informants.

Q11.) Diamae Atacador --> Hello. Considering that some retirees nowadays are facing different challenges, such financial and health problems. What are the best practices for an employee to have a purposeful living during their retirement? Thank you!

Q12.) Cindy Lavado --> Thank you for presenting this study Dr. Ibrahim! Most of my colleagues are already stressed just by thinking of retirement, so this really is beneficial to those who are about to retire, they can plan a lot of activities to occupy their minds and keep them busy.

Q13.) Wenhern Ralph O. OPONDA --> Are the recreational activities of the senior citizens sponsored, or financed by the government; or is it solely by their own retirement funds?

Q19.) Jeric C. Tigolo --> Have you considered the non-working or non-professional as respondents? If not, maybe it could be an interesting topic for future studies.

Q20.) Catalino L. Emperio III --> Hello ma'am Ibrahim, I would like to ask what do you think are the most important preparations for retirement? Knowing that both health and financial aspects are just two of the many problems retirees are facing today.

Q21.) Marjorie Cartajenas --> Is there any programs implemented in your country that all retirees or senior citizen enjoyed? like discounts, or pensions that given by the government.

Q22.) jannah --> What specific resilience test did you use in your study?
