A Survey-Based Multiple Regression Analysis of Recruitment, Selection, and Employee Performance at Al-Muhajirin Foundation Purwakarta
Β
Recruitment and selection are fundamental human resource management practices that play a crucial role in improving employee performance. However, many educational institutions continue to face challenges in ensuring transparent recruitment processes and implementing objective, competency-based selection systems. This study examines how recruitment and selection individually and jointly influence employee performance at Al-Muhajirin Foundation Purwakarta using multiple regression analysis.
Β
π‘ The findings reveal that selection has a significantly stronger influence on employee performance than recruitment. While recruitment demonstrates a positive relationship with employee performance, its effect is not statistically significant.
Β
Together, recruitment and selection explain 29.7% of the variation in employee performance, highlighting the importance of competency-based selection practices.
Β
The study also recommends improving recruitment transparency while prioritizing objective and merit-based selection systems to strengthen workforce quality, particularly within educational institutions.
