  • Q1) Jahidul Islam : From the perspective of Maqāṣid al-Waḥy, is it permissible for an Islamic bank to be connected to and utilize the ATM network of conventional banks, allowing its customers to withdraw cash and perform other basic banking services through conventional bank ATMs? If the Islamic bank pays a network or transaction fee to the conventional bank for using its ATM services, how should this fee be evaluated from the perspective of Maqāṣid al-Waḥy and Islamic commercial jurisprudence? Could such connectivity actually serve the Maqāṣid al-Shariah by increasing accessibility, convenience, and financial inclusion for customers of Islamic banks, particularly where a separate Islamic ATM network is not economically or geographically feasible?

  • Q2) Najamuddin Nasuhan UNM indonesia : Dear Prof. Zaid Barzinji. in one of the slides shows us that this crisis is not just an economic crisis, but also a moral and social one. The core sociological question is: If materialism fails to provide justice and stability, how can we base our economy on values that protect faith, life, intelligence, bloodline, and so on and wealth - maqasid which supports our society_Najamuddin_UNM

  • Q3) Md Atif Ali : Respected Sir Prof. Zaid Barzinji I want to know how these systems of money monitoring are based on Maqasid Methodology without interest (Riba) monitoring system?

  • Q4) Yedi Purwanto : Dear Dr. Zaid, Asy Syatibi in the Muwafaqat said that in Islam there is Hifzul Mall or Economic would you like explain me abaot it? Thank you YP ITB Indonesia

  • Q5) Dicky Cahya Nurfazri, S.Pd. : Thank you, Doctor. From an educational perspective, how can the Maqasid al-Waḥy framework you propose for economic modeling also inform how we teach Islamic economic values, so that students not only understand Islamic finance theoretically but internalize its Tawhidic worldview?

  • Q6) Mohamed Taufik Bin Mohamed Ramlan : How do we operationalize Maqasid al-Wahy in a way that can actually be translated into economic variables, indicators and models without reducing revelation to merely another form of social-science preference? For example, if preservation of wealth, justice, human dignity or social welfare are maqasid-derived objectives, what would be their measurable economic proxies?

  • Q7) Huda : How can we make sure we stick to these objectives when the baseline is uncertain?

  • Q8) Mohamed Taufik Bin Mohamed Ramlan : When two maqasid appear to conflict in an actual economic policy problem, what is the decision rule within the proposed framework for prioritizing one maqasid over another? Is there a hierarchy, weighting system or some form of maqasid trade-off analysis?
