Journal of Contemporary Maqasid Studies (JCMS) invites high-quality scholarly contributions that explore maqasid-based perspectives in addressing contemporary challenges and advancing the renewal of Islamic thought and foundational sciences. The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, and applied studies that critically engage with maqasid frameworks within today’s complex and evolving social, scientific, and technological contexts.

JCMS serves as an interdisciplinary academic platform that promotes rigorous scholarship, constructive dialogue, and innovative approaches integrating Islamic intellectual heritage with contemporary issues of justice, reform, governance, environment, technology, and society.

The journal is published by Research Synergy Press and supported by the global scholarly ecosystem of Research Synergy Foundation.

The journal also welcomes manuscript submissions in Arabic.
